
Federal Bar Preparatory Course

Full Course
This course covers all eight (8) subject areas: Federal Civil Procedure; Federal Evidence; Federal Jurisdiction and Venue; Federal Criminal Procedure (Includes the subject of Sentencing Guidelines. Applicants must be familiar with the ruling in United States v. Booker, 543 U.S. 220, 125 S.Ct. 738, 160 L.Ed.2d 621(2005) and progeny from the 1st Circuit Court of Appeals); Local Rules; Federal Appellate Procedure; Bankruptcy, including the Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer Protection Act of 2005 and the Bankruptcy Rules; Ethics.
This course is offered in Spring (Bar administered in April) and Fall (Bar administered in November) Semesters.
